Grand Reopening Highlights Thriving Tennis and Pickleball Community in Oxnard

We’re thrilled to share that Agape Tennis & Pickleball Academy was recently featured in the Ventura County Reporter! The article highlights the grand reopening of the Oxnard Tennis Center, where a $1.4 million court reconstruction has brought freshly resurfaced tennis courts and new dedicated pickleball courts to the community — with even more improvements on the horizon.

Reporter Alex Wilson spoke with our coaches and leadership about what this renovation means for the players and families we serve, the growth of our programs, and our vision for the future of tennis and pickleball in Oxnard.

Owner and CEO Amy Pazahanick said, “I am incredibly proud of our Agape Tennis & Pickleball Academy team in Oxnard. Their dedication, passion, and care for this facility and the people who use it every day make everything we do possible. We’re also deeply grateful for the support of the Oxnard community, whose enthusiasm for tennis and pickleball continues to inspire us. We’re committed to building something special here, and this renovation is just the beginning. A big thank you to the Ventura County Reporter for helping tell this story!”

Changes to Court Booking Policy

Changes to Court Booking Policy

Effective May 26th, 2025, all court bookings will be charged to the “host” (the client who makes the booking). Only the host will be charged, regardless of the number of players involved.

This change will eliminate the following errors:

  • Incorrect clients being charged due to multiple names in our system
  • Opponents being charged who have an account but are not supposed to be charged

There will be NO CHANGE in how you book the courts as you have previously done.

This change is designed to provide a better player experience.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
