SUMMER 2023 ADULT TENNIS SCHEDULE

JUNE 1ST – JULY 31ST

ADVANCED, INTERMEDIATE, INTERMEDIATE LOW, BEGINNER AND CARDIO TENNIS

1.5/HR – $30

ADVANCED CLASSES

These classes are for players who play 4.5 / A2 level tennis or higher.

Players must be able to:
Sustain a 20-ball rally
Use topspin and slice
Control and direct the ball to specific targets

Schedule:

Tuesdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Thursdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Sundays	10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

These classes are for players who play 3.5/ B2 level tennis or higher.

Players must be able to:
Sustain a 15-ball rally
Use top spin and slice
Control and direct the ball

Schedule:

Mondays	9:30 – 11:00 A.M.
Mondays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Wednesdays	9:30 – 11:00 A.M. Note: 12 players allowed July 5th
Wednesdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Fridays	9:30 – 11:00 A.M. Note 12 players allowed June 16th, June 30th, July 7th, July 21st
Saturdays	10:30 A.M.- 12:00 P.M.

INTERMEDIATE LOW CLASSES

These classes are for players who play 3.0-3.5/ B3-C4 level tennis or higher

Players must be able to:
Sustain a 10-ball rally
Have match play experience

Schedule:

Tuesdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Wednesdays	8:00 – 9:30 A.M. Note: 12 players allowed July 5th
Thursdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Fridays	8:00 – 9:30 A.M. Note: 12 players allowed June 6th, June 30th, July 7th, July 21st
Saturdays	12:00 – 1:30 P.M.

BEGINNER CLASSES

These classes are for beginning/advanced beginner level players who are looking to learn and improve, or have little or no match play experience.

Schedule:

Mondays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Wednesdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Fridays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Saturdays	9:00 – 10:30 A.M.
Sundays	9:00 – 10:30 A.M.

"NEW TO TENNIS" BEGINNER

These classes are for those who are new to the sport and looking to work on basic strokes, scoring, and movement.

Schedule:

Mondays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Fridays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.

CARDIO TENNIS

These classes are for players who are looking for an excellent way to get into a more active lifestyle, meet new people, AND improve tennis.

Schedule:

Wednesdays	6:30 – 8:00 P.M.
Sundays	10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

DOUBLES STRATEGIES WITH COACH NING

This class is perfect for those who have match experience and are eager to improve their skills on the doubles court. This class. is also ideal for those who wish to practice with their doubles partner to prepare for upcoming matches.

Players will learn various strategies, their optimal use, and how to apply them during matches. While not required, signing up with your partner is highly recommended for maximum benefit.

Sunday: 9:00 – 10:30 A.M.

DOUBLES 101 WITH COACH NING

This is an ideal class for beginners looking to start pIaying or preparing for USTA, ALTA, and Flex League teams. Learn about effective positioning at the net and baseline, basic strategies, court positioning, and match scoring.

Tuesday: 7:00 – 8:30 P.M.

UTR EVENTS

Agape is incorporating UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) into our programming and creating new and exciting tournaments, events, and match play opportunities for all of our players.

Important Policies

If you are not sure what level/class you should be in, contact our Director of Adults, Coach Daneric @ danerich@agapetennisacademy.com.
Before you move up to a higher level class, you must confirm by contacting our Director of Adults, Coach Daneric @ danerich@agapetennisacademy.com.
If you are not in the correct class, the coach will ask you to leave that class and direct you to the proper class level.
Sign up online at www.agapetennisacademy.com to guarantee spot
Online registration closes two hours prior to start of class
Classes must have a minimum of 4 students by close of registration or individual class will be cancelled and an account credit will be issued
If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist
Payment is required at time of registration
Drop-ins for classes will be allowed if minimum number of students has been met
Credits will be issued for weather-related cancellations
Some classes might be subject to change during ALTA/USTA seasons
Pro Shop will email weather-related cancellations and updates on adult program classes, so please make sure that the address on your account is current

Cancellation Policies

If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive an account credit, not a refund
Call the pro shop to apply your account credit for another class
Cancellations within 24 hours will not result in account credit issued, unless your spot is able to be filled by the waitlist
If you need to cancel a court reservation or class, you MUST call or email the appropriate pro shop. Cancellations cannot be made online
